Last week we had a spring outing. We thought we would have a good time, but in fact we saw something terrible. The water was so dirty at that time. Factories poured waste water into the rivers and lakes. The water looked black and smelt terrible. All of us covered our noses when we went close to it. I think we should pay more attention to the importance of water. Without water, we can't live. Although the earth is covered with water, most of the water can't be drunk, because it is salty. We have a little of fresh water. So if we go on polluting the water, our children, our grandchildren, or our great grandchildren won't have fresh water to drink. So for ourselves, for our next generation, please stop polluting rivers and lakes and pay more attention to the importance of water.
